The second element that motivated us, is that being financial services our scope of expertise, we understood that a socially responsible company could contribute decisively to strengthening the economic fabric in popular areas.
The third reason was the certainty that we would serve the public located in popular areas, and comply with this commitment. Time has proved right and I will not bore you but with a quick overview of some figures of the four years of existence of Community Banking: 125,391 customers served, 69,207 microloans totaling 194.12 million and 111,947 in Step by Step Savings Accounts opened.
We started with four community agencies and we have 16 customer service points, and will continue to expand our focus on geography.
We will Continue to support this program for microentrepreneurs, going to two other cities in the country for the first time. I am pleased to have helped you develop your business, born of your effort and perseverance: prosper for the benefit of your families, community and and the country.
