The ABANCA Innova Acceleration Program by Conector will start on March 20th. All the projects that want to participate in it can apply through the web page of ABANCA Innova abancainnova.com or the Connector’s website conector.com from February 2 to 5 of March. It will be an independent committee that chooses which startups will present at Startup Day, the event where ABANCA’s Connector members and managers will vote and choose which startups deserve to enter the acceleration program.

Lalo García, director of Conector Galicia, will also be the director of the acceleration program and will be responsible for the daily accompaniment of the projects. During the five months of the program, entrepreneurs will work to strengthen areas where they need it, such as marketing, sales, finance and strategy, in order to increase their growth exponentially.

To conclude the ABANCA Innova Acceleration Program by Conector, the institution will be holding the Demo Day, a private investment forum in which entrepreneurs will be able to present their project to the most important investors, VCs and business angels in the country.

The investment process presented by ABANCA, which will be guided by a constant selection of initiatives, has two main phases. In the initial, or seed-capital, ABANCA will provide financing in the form of participatory loan to different technological projects in process of creation. Among them, ABANCA will select, in a second phase called start-up, those that by their level of maturity are prepared to face their constitution.
