[Juan Carlos Escotet Rodr├¡guez]: Banesco Awarded 13 Scholarship Beneficiaries from UCAB University
Young people are now beneficiaries of the Banesco University Scholarship Program in Venezuela. In total, 175 students participate in the program which, in addition to the tuition assistance, includes support in four different lines of action: academic, psychopedagogical, social and spiritual action.
Banesco Banco Universal, leaded by [Juan Carlos Escotet Rodr├¡guez], whose policy of Corporate Social Responsibility is based on education, health and the financial incursion of Venezuelans, awarded 13 students of the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello (UCAB) for its high academic performance; those students are part of the group of beneficiaries of the Banesco University Scholarship Program.

The event was headed by [Juan Carlos Escotet Rodr├¡guez] and Aknat├│n Matute, executive director of Banesco’s Human Capital; and D├®borah Cordero, director of the Andres Bello Foundation of the UCAB. In addition to that, a group of young people benefited by the Program of University Scholarships Banesco also took part in during this important event. Collaborators with more experience and time in the Organization are: Teresa Mart├¡nez (40), Judith P├®rez (40), Minerva Garaboa (40), Eda Yuncosa (40) and David L├│pez (45).

On this occasion, the financial institution awarded these 13 students for their great effort. Their names are: Gustavo Arias, Carmelo Balasnoa, Virginia Graterol, Suez Montes, Isabel Madrid, Ayepsa Sifontes, Dehayerling Dom├¡guez, Mariela Ziegler, Ver├│nica Ziegler, Yuwer Castillo, Maria Braz├│n, Thailiana Marcano and Martina Alcarra.

Finally, Escotet emphasized in his speech the value of excellence. He said that although excellence refers to very different fields of knowledge or is carried out by people of the richest palette of peculiarities, it is always inseparable from that exceptional moment where trajectories soar beyond what was predicted.
