Juan Carlos Escotet Rodríguez – A New Campaign with Abanca and CRDO Ribeira Sacra
Abanca and the Regulatory Council Denomination of Orixe Ribeira Sacra commemorate one more year of their share hard work in the wine sector, after renewing their partnership agreement. That agreement is a basic text that reflects the sector’s needs and is available for the start of the harvest season.
With the signing of this agreement, the financial institution reinforces its link with the Galician, primary and specifically with the wine sector. It’s good to remember that the wine sector has a great impact on the community and that it’s facing in the coming weeks its most critical period, the grape harvest. Thus, Abanca actives credit options for wineries and wine producers in this start of the season.
Benefits of the agreement
The wine sector offers that Abanca is presenting includes credit alternatives capable of meeting the demands and handle the most pressing challenges. Coordinated with the division Abanca Agro, a new credit option is released. The credit alternative can be extended up to five years and mitigates the effects of the entry into force of Law 12/2013 of measures to improve the functioning of the food chain. With this product, the wineries can meet the payment of the grape to wine producers within less than 30 days, as stipulated in this text.
The agreement also provides various credit products for the members of this denomination of origin, specifically designed to meet the requirement to pass the ITV machines and phytosanitary application equipment. It is loans or leases to undertake the repair or purchase of new machinery.
According to Juan Carlos Escotet Rodríguez, as a novelty, this renewal of the collaboration agreement gives access to a specific offer on insurance, with responses for both producers (brands of wine farms, health insurance and accident insurance) and for wineries (safe SMEs wineries).
