IMPORTANT! Second Consecutive Year of Participatory Budget in Margarita
NGOs and social institutions that live in Nueva Esparta state can present their projects to support diverse Venezuelan communities in the areas of health, education, sports, culture, ecology and health care. From October 3 to 27, 2016, different non-governmental organizations in the areas of health, education, sports, culture, ecology and health care will be able to present their support projects to the communities of Nueva Esparta state in the Participatory Budget for the second consecutive year. This year an amount of Bs. 1,000,000.00 will be destined to diverse projects and those presented by the people should not exceed Bs. 250,000.00.
According to Mariela Colmenares, executive vice president of Communications and CSR of Banesco, in 2015 the institution had an excellent receptivity and supported three initiatives of great impact for the region of Nueva Esparta, and this year, the bank hopes to repeat the great experience.
With the Participative budget, the financial institution already adds 9 years encouraging projects that benefit the communities of Zulia and Merida states and in the Baruta Municipality of the Capital District. To the date, more than 4.9 million bolivars have been distributed to social projects.
About this, Mariela Colmenares also said that in the bank, the team believes in building a better future for children, adolescents and the elderly people in Venezuela, who are benefited from the initiative of the Corporate Social Responsibility programs of Banesco.
