Google for Education in Venezuela: a Proposal from Banesco
Ivette Serrada, vice president of Innovation and Technology of Banesco and Jose Antonio Antich, director of Administration and Services from IESA visited the studios of Globovision in its Technology section in order to discuss the implementation of Google for Education in Venezuela. During the interview, Jose Antonio Antich said that students and graduates of the headquarters of the IESA in Venezuela would receive and enjoy great benefits such as having access to their institutional email portal that will allow an unlimited capacity to store information; in addition to that, Antich said that all the necessary apps for their professional development at IESA would be handled.
Meanwhile, Ivette Serrada emphasized that Banesco International is one of the first banks in Latin America that established a partnership with Google, which has enabled the institution to develop its excellent technology and platform. Serrada also highlighted the Google’s platform Google for education saying that it offers the possibility that students and teachers interact, which results very suitable feature for new times.
Finally, Serrada and Antich ensure that the platform is also being adopted by many universities and schools in Latin America, allowing the improvement of the educational experience through the use of technology.
