Escotet: “The bank is moving towards a vision that becomes an agent of social development” (Part V)
The competition studied numerous programs submitted by the residents of the Metropolitan District of Caracas in areas such as urban planning, experiences of inclusion and combating poverty, citizen education programs, actions that promote a sustained and replicable culture and sport scheme, as well as environmental sustainability and contributions in the field of health and education.
Other organizations and individuals were recognized:
Public-Personality: Teolinda Bolivar, for her work in research, teaching and social work towards the city.
-Social Personality: Louis Levin, by the creation of the Ecological Garden Bandshell Monte Bello.
-Public Entity: Municipal Institute of Transportation of Sucre’s Municipality for their driver education plan “Stop, look and cross”.
-Private Entity: Orgánica, Vegetal Recycling Company.
-Social Organization: Canaima School Educational Foundation, for their teaching in La Vega Parish.
-Social media: Tamoa Calzadilla and Simon Villamizar for their radio program “Hello, Caracas” in Onda 107.9 FM.
-Experience of community social development: Hatillarte, “Art Takes El Hatillo”.
