Juan Carlos Escotet Rodríguez: Abanca and Valdeorras Working Together at the Start of the Campaign
Abanca and the Regulatory Council of Valdeorras renew their cooperation on financial matters after signing a new agreement. This document expects to be the response of the bank based in Galicia to the most important concerns of wineries and winemakers of the Ourense region at the start of the harvest campaign season.
In the signing event, which took place in the headquarters of Valdeorras, participated the Banca Agro e Mar and the director of Abanca, Jesus Combarro Pereira, as well as the president of the Regulatory Council of Valdeorras, Jose Vicente Solarat Lopez.
Abanca focuses on lending wineries of Valdeorras with the signing of this agreement. In order to suit their financial needs, the bank provides credits that can be extended to five years and to compensate the demands of the Law 12/2013 on food chain, as long as the payments occur within a maximum of 30 days for amounts greater than 2,500 euros.
As detailed, the goal is that wineries can handle the payment of the grape to wine producers in a flexible way. Financing alternatives to the 44 wineries that are part of this denomination will be completed. These alternatives have abounded with official Igape or ICO loans and formulas to accompany the foreign trade.
