Juan Carlos Escotet Rodr├¡guez: More Benefits from Banesco to the Communities
Under the Participatory Budget with the community of Margarita (Nueva Esparta State, Venezuela), Banesco Banco Universal, leaded by Juan Carlos Escotet, destined Bs. 800,000 to fund five projects submitted by Nueva Esparta institutions in various fields, including ecology.
Mariela Colmenares, Executive Vice President of the institution gave the public the information related to this topic. She also added that the institutions that will be supported by Banesco are:
- Museo del Mar Foundation.
- ArtesanoGroup Foundation.
- Casa de la Mujer Abogada Ismenia Villalba de Villalba.
- Cooperativa SocioProyectos Ambientales R.L.
- Nueva Mujer Margarita Foundation.
Museo del Mar Foundation presented the project The Museum Goes to the School (El Museo va a la escuela in Spanish) with the aim of promoting various activities with children and young boys and girls from various schools in Nueva Esparta about the conservation of the environment.
Amount approved: Bs 200,000.00.
ArtesanoGroup raised the craftsmanship of El Cercado as Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

In addition to that, La Casa de la Mujer Abogada Ismene Villalba Villalba was also benefited because of its training program Cutting and Sewing (Corte y Costura in Spanish), which allows participants to receive tools for making clothing.

Finally, the participatory budget of Banesco expressed support for SocioProyectos Ambientales R.L. (Bs. 199.500,00) and Nueva Mujer Margarita Foundation (Bs. 180.000,00).
