Costumers’ needs that seem to be the main goal for financial institutions as ABANCA and Banesco Banco Universal which provide security and convenience strategies to their customers. Banesco Banco Universal and ABANCA are taking measures to improve their services quality by offering additional value, personalized attention and advice.
ABANCA, the Spanish financial institution, developed a program which offers advantages to their clients applying an insurance flat rate that allows customers to divide the insurance in 12 months without interests or fees in which they can include all the cost of every insurance that they have contracted with ABANCA in a single product. This program, depending on the type of insurance included, offers the possibility of saving up to 7% of the monthly bill.
To this strategy it is important to add that now, Abanca is not going to charge customers for the use of ATMs, that is to say, they can withdraw cash free of debit charge at any of the devices on the network of ATMs of the bank in Spain, charging only to service costs, but leaving no profit for the institution.
Banesco Banco Universal, on the other hand, bets to the use of social networks. In 2015, the financial institution reported 40,645 attended cases through their social networks. The financial institution is expanding its service channels and its technology platform.
In matters of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Banesco is also taking a step ahead by generating social projects. In the first half of 2015, Banesco contributed with Bs. 116.10 million to benefit social initiatives. Supporting among others:
- the Cancer Society of Venezuela,
- the Foundation Friends of Children with Cancer
- the Venezuelan Foundation for Infantile Paralysis
This year Banesco supported five projects, submitted in Nueva Esparta state, Venezuela, in different areas, such as ecology. The financial institution approved an amount of Bs. 800,000 to fund diverse organizations of the state, for example:
- Museo del Mar Foundation
- ArtesanoGroup Foundation
- Casa de la Mujer Abogada Ismenia Villalba de Villalba
- Cooperativa SocioProyectos Ambientales R.L
- Nueva Mujer Margarita Foundation
All these measures go forward to improve efficiency and to increase its market share. The position of the business, less risky measures and supporting the social, economic and environmental development of the communities through the CSR show the important commitment of ABANCA and Banesco to their customers by a better service for the customers and reducing significant costs.
