Banesco Increases The Daily Limit for Payments Done Via PagoMóvil to 15 Million Bolivares
The institution has registered over 6.8 million transactions made by its 1.3 million active users
Banesco, Universal Bank, presided by Juan Carlos Escotet, increased the daily limit of money that can be sent and received through its Banesco PagoMóvil (Banesco MobilePayment) app to 15.000.000Bs, or Bs.S. 15.000.
The banking institution informed that, in order to make Banesco PagoMóvil transactions, users must login to BanescOnline and modify the parameters to the new daily limits, as well as the allotted daily transactions that they believe they make through the app.
The app allows up to 30 daily transactions.
Banesco PagoMóvil is a service that lets clients send and receive immediate payments made to others, either to their own Banesco accounts or to accounts belonging to other banks. Businesses can also make use of the app, but only to make payments to small businesses (also known as P2C) through and from Banesco accounts belonging to others.
Transactions made through the app are backed by the highest security measures, as the bank is the only one that verifies and/or confirms user identities via Category 2 Authentication Factor (Login + Password), as well as Category 3 (Internal Dynamic OTP). Payments will only be registered and executed through a maximum of two devices, which the client will have to register under BanescOnline’s “Device Registration” option.
The app is available for iOS (v.7.3.5 or newer) and Android (v.4.0 or newer) smartphones. It offers clients a menu of options that even lets them consult the affiliated bank account’s balance, consult a list of Frequent Payments, share their QR codes to receive transfers and read the QR codes of other Banesco clients.
Starting June 19 of the present year, Banesco PagoMóvil has registered over 6.8 million transactions, with an average of over 1.1 million transactions per month.
