Banesco Banco Universal, Venezuelan financial institution leaded by Juan Carlos Escotet and which policy of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has as its bases the education, health and financial inclusion of all Venezuelans, contributed in January this year to the Cardioamigos Foundation the amount of Bs 82.752,77, which will be destined to surgical interventions of people with cardiac pathologies and who do not have resources for any intervention. Today, the budgets for these interventions are very high and impossible to pay for many patients; in this case, with the contribution of Bs 82.752,77 Banesco supports a group of professionals who, with great social sensitivity, dedicate their best efforts in saving lives. For more than 10 years, Banesco has supported Cardioamigos. To the date, the financial institution has contributed to this foundation a total of Bs. 327,751.
According to Carmen Lorenzo, Banesco is an institution that has always given its support, for which the team is extremely grateful. This contribution will help these Venezuelans who go to the institution and lack the financial resources to face the treatments of cardiovascular diseases.

This non-profit organization has dedicated its efforts to saving the lives of low-income patients with heart disease. Since 1989, it has assisted more than 3,800 people, of whom more than 800 have been operated, returning them to a useful and productive life in society. On the other hand, it carries out a support program in the training and professional updating of doctors and paramedics, who are in charge of surgical treatments.
