Banesco’s Investment for 2016
Banesco Banco Universal, an institution of 100% Venezuelan capital and leaded by Juan Carlos Escotet, is planning to invest 73 billion bolivars in 2016. The amount includes both the operating budget and the provision of the resources that Banesco will dedicate to human capital and the implementation of new projects. These 73 billion bolivars represent an important increase –more than 100%- in comparison to the amount of last year.
Juan Carlos Escotet said that the bank has invested in order to adapt its attention features. In the first quarter of the year, 389 agencies across the country will be operating under the new model and will culminate the refreshment of the offices.
Under this new scheme, the bank aims to go deep in their approach of using electronic channels to facilitate the completion of transactions such as withdrawals, deposits and credit card payments, among others, according to Escotet’s information. Under the new scheme, the personal attention and advice to clients in their business with the right product adapted to their will be delved. Apart from this, the bank will provide specialized staff in the post-sales service in operational requirements of all its clients.
Also, thanks to the commitment of its workforce, the bank has made significant savings on paper use, water and electricity, which, in addition to reduce wastes, involves a commitment to less harmful practices to the environment and the country.
