Banesco: Generator of Social Projects
All projects and initiatives of Banesco are part of the contributions in Corporate Social Responsibility. Banesco Banco Universal is one of the most committed to social development banks in the country. This bank takes on corporate social responsibility for the benefit of communities year after year, with all the contributions that the institution of 100% Venezuelan capital can provide.
The most recent -corresponding to the first half of this year- was Bs. 116.10 million to benefit various social initiatives, including the Microenterprise Training Program.
Similarly, the bank leaded by Juan Carlos Escotet, extended a helping hand to the Participatory Budget with communities, the Cancer Society of Venezuela, the Foundation Friends of Children with Cancer, the Venezuelan Foundation for Infantile Paralysis, SenosAyuda, among others.
Here is a brief description of some of the social initiatives Banesco supported in the first half of the year:
- Microenterprise Training Program: it is a project that aims to provide administrative, managerial and technological tools to Venezuelan entrepreneurs so that they drive their own businesses.
- Participatory Budgeting with communities: this initiative started in Bello Monte –where the headquarters of Banesco is located-, and was recently extended to another municipality of the city and several regions of the country in which the bank operates.
- Foundation Friends of Children with Cancer: Banesco renewed its partnership for the seventh consecutive year and allocated Bs 250,000 to support the work carried out by this institution for children and adolescents aged 0-18 years who have been referred by public hospitals and that come from.
